Hello, my name is Dionne and I have been crafting for a very long time. As a very young child my mother tried to teach me to knit, it was a disaster. However, it must have sparked an interest in making things and, partly to prove that I was not totally useless and partly because I really wanted to make things, I taught myself to crochet. Over the years I have developed a love of cross stitch and all types of paper craft ..... I eventually even taught myself to knit.


I am married to a very understanding man, thank goodness, because I spend all my time either crafting, thinking about crafting or talking about crafting. I am hopeless at housework and dinner is often late!

Easter Eggs

I hope your week has been going well, it is short week in the UK as Friday is a Bank Holiday.  I have been busy this week, I have been visiting family and having others visit me and consequently I am getting behind with my posting.

Here is a very quick and easy Easter card featuring some glitter card die cuts.


I used my new Presscut Center Stepper die to make the card blank, the panel dies are also included in the set.  The egg dies are a combination of X-Cut and Spellbinder and, I think, the butterflies are by Sizzix.

    I've been waiting for this to appear so I could comment. Such a lovely display of glittery egginess I love it! The stepper design seems to show them off perfectly.xx

      It is most definitely glittery, it seems the whole house is twinkling at the moment!

      It seemed a good card to post today as I have been playing the Easter bunny and giving out chocolate eggs and bunnies to all of my nieces and nephews!

    Wow Dionne, your craft room must be filled with glitter paper, you have every colour!! LOVE it!! I do enjoy a good step card, and yours is so lovely with the scalloped trim!! Happy Easter my friend!

      You are right, I do have quite a stack of colourful glittery card. I cannot help myself, if I see it, I have to buy it!
