It has been two weeks since my last post, I really cannot believe where the time has gone. I was intending to spend the last two weeks making my Christmas cards but I am so far behind and I have only just started to make them, of dear!
My inspiration for finally making a start on my Christmas cards was the new Crafty Boots Challenge. The theme for the next two weeks is 'Christmas', so I just had to make a card, in fact I made two.
Both cards feature the gorgeous Mo Manning image Taste of Winter.
Card 1
Card 2
The papers are a combination of Stampin' Up and Dovecraft. The Snowflake die is a Sizzlits and the Christmas Tree is from Memory Box. The sentiments, although you cannot read them (sorry about the glare), are from Papermania.
Don't forget to pop across to the Crafty Boots Challenges website and see all the wonderful projects the rest of the team has put together for this challenge and let us see what you have been making.
Good luck.
Dionne
Oh wow Dionne what a gorgeous image on these beautiful cards .
ReplyDeleteI know how you feel about the time passing so quickly I can't seem to find time for any crafting for myself these days .
Big hugs Emma xx
Gorgeous work! Love how you've added the snowflake die. Great work. Take care Zo xx
ReplyDeleteHi Dionne
ReplyDeleteOh WOW, 2 easel cards! What a treat this is! Love the choice of the papers you used, absolutely gorgeous! Great image too, reminds me when I was a child and played in snow.

These are gorgeous - what a cute stamp and I love that name- Taste like winter. As ever, your colouring is superb but I love the layouts too. This is something I need to work on as I tend to just do a straightforward mat and layer.Love the colour combination in the first, but that spotty paper in the second is fabulous. More items for my Stampin' Up shopping list! Great to see the snowflakes again too! Glad you've got your Picassa sorted and hope the Christmas cards are coming along nicely :) x
ReplyDeleteLovely cards Dionne. Great choice of dies, I gotta have those!
