Welcome

Hello, my name is Dionne and I have been crafting for a very long time. As a very young child my mother tried to teach me to knit, it was a disaster. However, it must have sparked an interest in making things and, partly to prove that I was not totally useless and partly because I really wanted to make things, I taught myself to crochet. Over the years I have developed a love of cross stitch and all types of paper craft ..... I eventually even taught myself to knit.

I am married to a very understanding man, thank goodness, because I spend all my time either crafting, thinking about crafting or talking about crafting. I am hopeless at housework and dinner is often late!

Thank you for visiting my blog.

Happy Easter

I hope that you are able to make the most of this long weekend, perhaps you are spending it with good friends and family, or enjoying a little 'me' time relaxing, or, like me, you are catching up with some long over due crafting.

I plan to spend as much time as possible this weekend scrapbooking, I have an awful lot to do but it is something I just cannot rush.

I also wanted to wish all my family and friends a very happy Easter Day.

I have one last Easter card to post.  It's another from the Sugar Nellie's Home Grown new digital Sherbet Pip stamps, this one is called Lamb Pip.

I decided to make this image into another circle easel card.  After colouring the stamp with my Promarkers, I mounted it onto Craftwork Cards Ice Cream Parlour Scallop Doillies and added flat backed gems from Kanban Crafts and Card Candi, also from Craftwork Cards.  The additional paper is by DoveCraft.

The Deluxe Crafter Card that I printed the digi stamp onto, and all of the Craftwork Card supplies, came from the Crafty Boots on-line store.
