Welcome

Hello, my name is Dionne and I have been crafting for a very long time. As a very young child my mother tried to teach me to knit, it was a disaster. However, it must have sparked an interest in making things and, partly to prove that I was not totally useless and partly because I really wanted to make things, I taught myself to crochet. Over the years I have developed a love of cross stitch and all types of paper craft ..... I eventually even taught myself to knit.

I am married to a very understanding man, thank goodness, because I spend all my time either crafting, thinking about crafting or talking about crafting. I am hopeless at housework and dinner is often late!

Thank you for visiting my blog.

Carly at Easter

Hi fellow bloggers

I hope that you had a good week.  We have has some fantastic weather, however, last evening was rather gloomy and the forecast is not good for today.

The current challenge at Crafty Boots Challenges is Easter and I have another Easter card to share with you today.  This little cutie is called Easter Carly and she is from Mo's Digital Pencil.

I have sooooo much in my crafty stash, it is getting out of control.  Like most crafters I never throw anything away and I have a big folder of images I have printed and never used and an even bigger folder of papers left over from other projects.   So, I set myself a personal challenge with my Easter cards this year - to use up some of my 'spare' images and paper.

I coloured the image with Promarkers and I cut the butterflies out of some of the paper scraps.

Thank yo for dropping by today.

  1. She is soooo cute with that bunny under her arm and basket of eggs. Love the stripy paper and the flutter of butterflies. Gorgeous xx
