Welcome

Hello, my name is Dionne and I have been crafting for a very long time. As a very young child my mother tried to teach me to knit, it was a disaster. However, it must have sparked an interest in making things and, partly to prove that I was not totally useless and partly because I really wanted to make things, I taught myself to crochet. Over the years I have developed a love of cross stitch and all types of paper craft ..... I eventually even taught myself to knit.

I am married to a very understanding man, thank goodness, because I spend all my time either crafting, thinking about crafting or talking about crafting. I am hopeless at housework and dinner is often late!

Thank you for visiting my blog.

A Little Chocolate Pip

Good morning

I have another Easter card to share with you today.

You may think you are having deja vu because I posted a card with this image earlier this week.  Regular visitors to my blog will recall that I have set myself a personal challenge whilst making my Easter cards this year.  Like most crafters I never throw anything away and I have a big folder of images that over the years I have printed but never used,  I also have an even bigger folder of papers left over from other projects.   So, I set myself a challenge to use up some of my 'spare' images and paper and this is why you have seen this image before.

This image is one of Sugar Nellie's Home Grown digital Sherbet Pip stamps, it is called Chocolate Pip. I coloured the image with Promarkers and Wink of Stella pens and then I mounted it on gold mirri card.  Everything else has come from my stash.

The flower were made with a Martha Stewart 'Hydrangea' punch and the butterfly is a Stampin' Up die.

Thank you for dropping by today.

  1. Once again a gorgeous design with fabulous colours. The lace and the gem brad (need those!) centres to the flowers and butterflies are fabulous touches. Loving your Easter series and each day's card becomes the new favourite! xx
