Welcome

Hello, my name is Dionne and I have been crafting for a very long time. As a very young child my mother tried to teach me to knit, it was a disaster. However, it must have sparked an interest in making things and, partly to prove that I was not totally useless and partly because I really wanted to make things, I taught myself to crochet. Over the years I have developed a love of cross stitch and all types of paper craft ..... I eventually even taught myself to knit.

I am married to a very understanding man, thank goodness, because I spend all my time either crafting, thinking about crafting or talking about crafting. I am hopeless at housework and dinner is often late!

Thank you for visiting my blog.

Time to Celebrate!

I have been playing with my new dies again.

You may have noticed that many of my recent cards are made with dies of pre-printed toppers, this is because I have ongoing printer problems inasmuch as my laptop will not link with my printer - I have tried fix the problem but with no success, my best bet now is to find a teenager.  If anyone should have one with time on their hands I should be grateful if you could send them round.

Nonetheless, I am really enjoying experimenting with all of these dies.

I went for a very CAS look for this card, I think it works really well with this spray die.  I put some of the magenta card behind the white card before adding the sentiment - which was cut from the same magenta card.

Nice and simple.

    1. Thank you Carol, oh I feel your pain!

I have been seeing this spray die all over the place and it seemed no matter what people do with it, it always looks great. I have been having a lot of fun with it. I spotted the other day that you used it and said that it a Memory Box die - mine is a cheap Chinese copy from Amazon.

I have also given up with my printer, I have no idea what to do with it. But now I have started making cards again, I may have to be more pro-active. I sounds like you have a broken sensor in your printer, it may not be fixable!

    2. I wonder if Blogger has limited you to a certain number of comments at a time MrsBeez?

Sorry you're still suffering with your printer. Mine is on its way out and I dread getting a new one. A pain for you but great we get to see these wonderful dies being put to work. This bubble spray seems to work with everything and I love the hot pink. Xx

    3. At the moment just about every appliance and electric kitchen devise seems to be giving up the ghost, so I may be some time before I so anything about the printer. I only really use it for crafting and I am more than happy to play with my dies so the pressure to do something has been lifted.
