Cross Stitch, knitting, crochet, dressmaking, card making, scrapbook and wedding stationery.
Hello, my name is Dionne and I have been crafting for a very long time. As a very young child my mother tried to teach me to knit, it was a disaster. However, it must have sparked an interest in making things and, partly to prove that I was not totally useless and partly because I really wanted to make things, I taught myself to crochet. Over the years I have developed a love of cross stitch and all types of paper craft ..... I eventually even taught myself to knit.
I am married to a very understanding man, thank goodness, because I spend all my time either crafting, thinking about crafting or talking about crafting. I am hopeless at housework and dinner is often late!
Thank you for visiting my blog.

I hope you are enjoying the holiday.

Happy Easter Carol, I hope you are enjoying the holiday weekend and the lovely weather?
DeleteThank you for your lovely comments. I am always full of good intentions and I had saved the calendar to turn it into birthday and anniversary cards but it was not as straight forward as the calendar I up-cycled last year, so it is still on my 'To Do' list!

These are genius, I love them. Might have to steal your idea fir next year, although only for a few select people. I now have a lovely image if you rampaging through your craft stash. That's going to make me chuckle every time I think of it xxx
ReplyDeleteThank you, I am always happy to provide the light entertainment.
DeleteAs you can see, I only made five cards but it seems no one has received them. So annoying, I know I did not make them until last Monday but I am pretty sure I put first class stamps on them.
I cannot believe that they only took me 20 minutes to make, which has to be a record for me. I was surprized that the calendar did not have a photo of any spring flowers - so I picked the bright yellow flowers. Perhaps next year I will remember that I bought the dies I intended to use this year .......... although I now have 5 egg shapes I could use!
Enjoy the rest of the long weekend.
