Hello, my name is Dionne and I have been crafting for a very long time. As a very young child my mother tried to teach me to knit, it was a disaster. However, it must have sparked an interest in making things and, partly to prove that I was not totally useless and partly because I really wanted to make things, I taught myself to crochet. Over the years I have developed a love of cross stitch and all types of paper craft ..... I eventually even taught myself to knit.

I am married to a very understanding man, thank goodness, because I spend all my time either crafting, thinking about crafting or talking about crafting. I am hopeless at housework and dinner is often late!

Thank you for visiting my blog.

A few More Calendar cards

All week I have sharing the cards I made by re-cycling my old 2020 calendar. I have been thinking about doing this for years and always felt a bit of a cheapskate but this year circumstances are a little different, what with both craft and card shops being closed due to the latest lockdown, so I decided it was time to get a little inventive.

Today I have the last of the birthday cards to share with you ...

All of the designer papers, buttons, cardstock and sentiments came from my stash.

Take care.

  1. Beautiful cards Dionne and recycling is better than throwing these cute images away

    1. Thank you Carol. I know you will smile when I tell you that the middle card is the calendar's Easter page and the hedgehog's are 'rolling' an Easter egg - I had to go on the hunt to find a sentiment large enough to cover the egg. Just thought, perhaps I could alter it and turn it into a 102.

      Keep warm.

  2. Another beautiful set and managing to hide the egg so cleverly is inspired! Xxx

    1. Thank you. I am a little sad that they are all done, I almost wish I had another calendar to work on. Still, Christmas cards next, I'm just waiting for some plain white card to be delivered.

      Have a good week.

      Dionne xxx
