The card I should like to share with you today features one of Saturated Canaries images called Canary Love. I coloured the image with Promarkers, as you can see, I decided that a little dove is slightly more romantic than a canary. I then mounted the image on some silver mirri and some pink card.
I wanted to print the Digi Rainbow's Love Letters backing paper in pink for this card, however, bad timing, I ran out of ink as I printed the paper. Mind you, I rather liked the effect and decided to use it anyhow. The paper lillies are from Wild Orchid Crafts, I punched the leaves using a Martha Stuart punch and two Xcut dimensional embossing punches. The twine, glass headed pins, heart charm and yellow bows are from my stash.
We have a wonderful Guest Designer today as well as some fabulous projects from our Design Team. But don't take my word for it, make sure you pop over to the Crafty Boots Challenges blog and see for yourself.

What a sweet image, I just love the little dove with the heart in his mouth!! Beautiful flower arrangement!! Love the itty bitty bows too, great splash of sunshine! hugs :)
ReplyDeleteThank you Pamelia. This one did not come easy and I kept pulling it apart and starting again .... glue everywhere. Lol!

Delicious! I love how that backing paper turned out and those tumbling flowers and the scattering of bows are stunning. Great image too and I love that you made it a dove.xx
ReplyDeleteThank you for your kind comments, I struggled with this one but I liked the paper. I was trying to make the bows look a bit like butterflies, not sure if I pulled that off, and I still want to fiddle with the floral arrangement!

How beautiful, the missing ink did you a favour, love the effect and the bows as butterflies, so pretty. Gorgeous colouring.
