Hello, my name is Dionne and I have been crafting for a very long time. As a very young child my mother tried to teach me to knit, it was a disaster. However, it must have sparked an interest in making things and, partly to prove that I was not totally useless and partly because I really wanted to make things, I taught myself to crochet. Over the years I have developed a love of cross stitch and all types of paper craft ..... I eventually even taught myself to knit.


I am married to a very understanding man, thank goodness, because I spend all my time either crafting, thinking about crafting or talking about crafting. I am hopeless at housework and dinner is often late!

Daisy Chain

Hi

As regular visitors to my blog will know, I very recently started to make Artist Trading Cards (ATCs) and I have become something of an enthusiast.

Over at Crafty Boots Challenges the current theme is 'New' and to take all the measuring out of making ATCs I have bought myself a new Sizzix Bigz ATC die and I have been having a little play with it.

I like to make a set of cards using the same basic materials and then, and this is the best bit, I get to raid my stash and make each one totally unique.


Each one has yellow glitter card, which came from C&C, the cream and yellow daisies are from Wild Orchid Crafts and the ribbon from Really Reasonable Ribbon.

    Oh WOW, these ATC's are really something. Absolutely stunning! Like a Spring day full of sunshine. So many gorgeous elements to look at! Love them all.
    P.S. I am having troubles and have not been able to send e-mails for a while now. I can access my e-mails but when I press "send" button I get some kind of error and it does not send it. Also I am having a very bad time accessing half of the blogs and internet pages in general.Hope you are OK.

    Thanks for your lovely e-mail and thinking of me. I can access them, read them but sending them is the tricky part. It seems to be a story of my life with all the laptop troubles!
    Hope you are doing well. I am not feeling well but managed to craft a bit and have been enjoying a bit of a sunshine from my window today.
