Cross Stitch, knitting, crochet, dressmaking, card making, scrapbook and wedding stationery.
Welcome
Hello, my name is Dionne and I have been crafting for a very long time. As a very young child my mother tried to teach me to knit, it was a disaster. However, it must have sparked an interest in making things and, partly to prove that I was not totally useless and partly because I really wanted to make things, I taught myself to crochet. Over the years I have developed a love of cross stitch and all types of paper craft ..... I eventually even taught myself to knit.
I am married to a very understanding man, thank goodness, because I spend all my time either crafting, thinking about crafting or talking about crafting. I am hopeless at housework and dinner is often late!
Thank you for visiting my blog.

Little Boy Blue
A new challenge starts today at Crafty Boots Challenges. For the next two weeks the theme is sports, this challenge was set by the very talented Zoe.
When I was at Alexandra Palace earlier this year I purchased 5 LOTV stamps, all featuring little boys. This footballer was one of those stamps.
I have coloured him using Promarkers and mounted him on some gold card and green glittered card from my stash. The backing papers - including the football (soccer) pitch, all came from a Joanna Sheen CD called Messy Rabbit.
The rosette is a Memory Box die which I colour toned using my Promarkers and the sentiment in the centre of the rosette is from Craftwork Cards.
Why not pop over to the Crafty Boots Challenges site and see the inspirational projects the other Design Team members have come up with and whilst you are there, don't forget to enter your own work into the challenge. I look forward to seeing your projects.
Thank you for visiting my blog today, your comments are appreciated.
