Hello, my name is Dionne and I have been crafting for a very long time. As a very young child my mother tried to teach me to knit, it was a disaster. However, it must have sparked an interest in making things and, partly to prove that I was not totally useless and partly because I really wanted to make things, I taught myself to crochet. Over the years I have developed a love of cross stitch and all types of paper craft ..... I eventually even taught myself to knit.


I am married to a very understanding man, thank goodness, because I spend all my time either crafting, thinking about crafting or talking about crafting. I am hopeless at housework and dinner is often late!

Advent Countdown - Day 6

I am back again with Day 6 of my 2018 Advent Adventure, this year it has become something of a fashion show for the discerning bear, I feel like I am presenting my 2018 winter fashion line.

Today we have our Elf Tunic, made in soft 4 ply cotton yarn.  This is a very fetching little number featuring a lawn green tunic with a contrasting dark green trim.  The whole thing is pulled together with this season's must have - a brown belt with a gold buckle. 


I think that this outfit would not seem at all out of place in Nottingham Forest, what do you think?

I cannot wait to share tomorrow's ittem of clothing, let's agree to be back same time, same place.

      I can just see you dressed as an elf this Christmas - with himself in the lead role as Santa. The best of it is your two probably wouldn't even bat an eye.
