Hello, my name is Dionne and I have been crafting for a very long time. As a very young child my mother tried to teach me to knit, it was a disaster. However, it must have sparked an interest in making things and, partly to prove that I was not totally useless and partly because I really wanted to make things, I taught myself to crochet. Over the years I have developed a love of cross stitch and all types of paper craft ..... I eventually even taught myself to knit.


I am married to a very understanding man, thank goodness, because I spend all my time either crafting, thinking about crafting or talking about crafting. I am hopeless at housework and dinner is often late!

Advent Countdown - Day 2

Day two of my Advent Special.

Yesterday I told you how my friend had told me that she would like to give her two bears -  Donovan and Daisy, a festive make over.  Over the next few days I will be sharing with you the little outfits I have made for this adorable pair.  Only time will tell which item of clothing will go with what outfit.  Until all is revealed it's going to be a bit of a guessing game.


Today we have some pantaloons, they have a pretty heart design around the legs - could these be a glimpse of Santa no one has seen before, or could they be from a different outfit?

For those who are interested in such things, this item is made from very soft cotton 4 ply.

    You tease! These are gorgeous, the hearts are so pretty and with the white it is quite Scandanavian. Your blog posts are going to be a super fun advent calendar x
