Hello, my name is Dionne and I have been crafting for a very long time. As a very young child my mother tried to teach me to knit, it was a disaster. However, it must have sparked an interest in making things and, partly to prove that I was not totally useless and partly because I really wanted to make things, I taught myself to crochet. Over the years I have developed a love of cross stitch and all types of paper craft ..... I eventually even taught myself to knit.


I am married to a very understanding man, thank goodness, because I spend all my time either crafting, thinking about crafting or talking about crafting. I am hopeless at housework and dinner is often late!

Advent Countdown - Day 21

This is the first of two posts today.

Day 21 of my 2018 Advent calender journey.  I am amazed that we have been doing this for three weeks, where has that time gone?  We are getting very close to the last of the posts sharing the Christmas outfits I have made for my friends knitted teddy bears and most of the clothes have been revealed, how are you doing at working out what goes with which of the four outfis?

Today we have another couple of pairs of Mary Jane shoes, this time they are in cream and brown cotton 4 ply.  Both have straps and tiny button fastenings.

      Thank you but you do not have to start cold turkey quite yet, these calenders goes up to the end of the month.
