Welcome

Hello, my name is Dionne and I have been crafting for a very long time. As a very young child my mother tried to teach me to knit, it was a disaster. However, it must have sparked an interest in making things and, partly to prove that I was not totally useless and partly because I really wanted to make things, I taught myself to crochet. Over the years I have developed a love of cross stitch and all types of paper craft ..... I eventually even taught myself to knit.

I am married to a very understanding man, thank goodness, because I spend all my time either crafting, thinking about crafting or talking about crafting. I am hopeless at housework and dinner is often late!

Thank you for visiting my blog.

Have a Mooovelous Day

It's very nearly to end of July, where do the months go?  Thank you from stopping by today, I love it when I get visitors, especially when you leave a comment to say hi.

My card today was from a rather sweet Hunkydory kit.  This kit is full of whimsical characters and cringeworthy sentiments, so adorable.  Apart from the gold card, pearls and birthday sentiment, everything else came from the kit.

I hope you have a simply mooovelous day.

    1. Thank you Carol. I loved this card and knew exactly who I wanted to send it to as I was making it. The only problem was, when I went to write my message in it I had stuck the card insert in upside down. I left it as I thought that my nephew would find it funny ... and he did!

I hope you have a good weekend.

    1. I forgot to tell you that my nephew thought that the insert was the right way up and it was the card which was upside down. Nephew's, honestly!

    1. I am pretty sure there is more to this set ..... only I seemed to have mislaid it somewhere in the depths of my crafting mountain! It has to be here somewhere.
