Welcome

Hello, my name is Dionne and I have been crafting for a very long time. As a very young child my mother tried to teach me to knit, it was a disaster. However, it must have sparked an interest in making things and, partly to prove that I was not totally useless and partly because I really wanted to make things, I taught myself to crochet. Over the years I have developed a love of cross stitch and all types of paper craft ..... I eventually even taught myself to knit.

I am married to a very understanding man, thank goodness, because I spend all my time either crafting, thinking about crafting or talking about crafting. I am hopeless at housework and dinner is often late!

Thank you for visiting my blog.

Cheers! Christmas Cards

Here are some more of the cards I have made this year using Hunkydory toppers and matching papers.  This set has something of a boozy theme I can think of quite a few people I could send these to.

All of the papers in this set have a very high sheen and I found it very hard to photograph them without some glare ruining the image, I do apologise.

As you can see, I added  some card candy, flat backed gems, bakers twine and glitter card from my stash to complete the look.

Time to check in on Daisy ...

Looks like the girls are feeling a bit under the weather 😢.

I would not want to get Daisy down from there!

    1. I just could not get that 'gin' bottle photographed, the light kept bouncing off it, no matter what angle I turned the card. In real life those cards look great, really pretty.

I can't wait to see your pop-ip card, as you know I have a passion for moving cards.

    3. Oh what a shame, perhaps you will make another some time.

I hope you are feeling better now, plenty of early nights and taking it easy. You need to be feeling better for Christmas, even if you are not doing anything special.

    1. Emm, they are so very 'now' and there were sooooo many people I could have sent them to ... everyone seems to be into gin these days.

Personally, I am with you, bring on the cocktails!
