Hello, my name is Dionne and I have been crafting for a very long time. As a very young child my mother tried to teach me to knit, it was a disaster. However, it must have sparked an interest in making things and, partly to prove that I was not totally useless and partly because I really wanted to make things, I taught myself to crochet. Over the years I have developed a love of cross stitch and all types of paper craft ..... I eventually even taught myself to knit.

I am married to a very understanding man, thank goodness, because I spend all my time either crafting, thinking about crafting or talking about crafting. I am hopeless at housework and dinner is often late!

Thank you for visiting my blog.

Off to School

It's time for the mid challenge reminder at Crafty Boots Challenges. The current theme is 'Spots and Dots'.

My card today features a Mo's Digital Pencil image called 'Erasmus'.

Once I had coloured the image with Promarkers I mounted it on some gold mirri and red card. The backing paper is by DoveCraft. The washi tape and cupcake charm are from my stash.

The card was for my little niece, who had just started school, I made her a couple of school uniform cardigans and a jumper to go with her card.

Now, don't forget to pop over to Craft Boots Challenges to enter you card featuring spots or dots.

  1. So cute and so beautifully coloured. And look at YOUR washi tapes!!!! xxx

    1. Thank you for your lovely comment. On such a miserable day it makes me feel so much better.

PS I do have washi tapes, you just do not get to see them very often.

  2. Lovely card, so sweet and your knitting is fabulous!

    1. Thank you Jacee, I think that knitting jumpers is something all old auties and grannies should be remembered for. I just wish I could work out how to photograph them, my knitting always looks so blah in photos!
