Welcome

Hello, my name is Dionne and I have been crafting for a very long time. As a very young child my mother tried to teach me to knit, it was a disaster. However, it must have sparked an interest in making things and, partly to prove that I was not totally useless and partly because I really wanted to make things, I taught myself to crochet. Over the years I have developed a love of cross stitch and all types of paper craft ..... I eventually even taught myself to knit.

I am married to a very understanding man, thank goodness, because I spend all my time either crafting, thinking about crafting or talking about crafting. I am hopeless at housework and dinner is often late!

Thank you for visiting my blog.

All Aboard the Big Red Bus

One week to the big day, the real countdown has begun.

More Christmas card to share today, all of my Christmas cards this year have been made from Hunkydory Crafts kits, great for making cards in a hurry.

There are three themes this post, the Little Angel, Santa's Big Red Bus and a Family in the Snow.  There a few fancy folds and a little of this and that from my crafty stash to make each card unique,

Time to visit those little elves who are currently staying with my nieces.  As I mentioned the other day, just one set of elves at the moment becuase they are not well at the other house - I hope they are all feeling better soon.

If you rememer yesterday's post you will see that Daisy and Danny have slightly one tract minds!

Reindeer Poo treats, I'm not sure about those, what do you think?

Ow, the elves are having a party.  Very nice, a few nibbles, some cake, a bit of music and perhaps a few party games.  Pass the Parcel any one?

Oh my, that will never do.  What happened to the party games?

That's it for now.  The elves will be back tomorrow - no doubt with a few more tricks up their sleeves.

    1. Thank you Carol, you are too kind.

Honestly, I wonder if those little elves could get any worse .... and then they do, such naughty elves.

You know what it is like in a house with school aged children, one brings home a bug and next thing you know someone else has it. I just hope they are well for Christmas.
