Welcome

Hello, my name is Dionne and I have been crafting for a very long time. As a very young child my mother tried to teach me to knit, it was a disaster. However, it must have sparked an interest in making things and, partly to prove that I was not totally useless and partly because I really wanted to make things, I taught myself to crochet. Over the years I have developed a love of cross stitch and all types of paper craft ..... I eventually even taught myself to knit.

I am married to a very understanding man, thank goodness, because I spend all my time either crafting, thinking about crafting or talking about crafting. I am hopeless at housework and dinner is often late!

Thank you for visiting my blog.

Foxy

I have a quick share today.

I have been raiding my stash of 'Little Cotton Rabbit patterns again, this time I have used the Boy Fox pattern, meet Mr Todd.

I decided not to make the clothes the Boy Fox came with but instead used the Hounds Tooth jumper pattern.

Isn't he cute, from his pointy little nose to his chubby little tail?  There is a gap in the shorts for the tail to slip through - otherwise I think he might be very uncomfortable with his brush stuck in his underpants.

This little fox is stitched in Aran weight yarn and his top and shorts in double knit yarn.

Thank you for stopping by.

    1. Thank you Carol. Me too, I also love his three coloured ears - although they are very fiddly to put together.

  2. I don't know if you know that I don't like foxes. I don't trust them!!! The same with bears. I have nightmares about both. However, this little guy has something about him that I love. You have given him such personality and he looks so proud of himself in his super smart suit. X

    1. I did not know that about you, so praise indeed, thank you. I think he has the look of an old fashioned wrestler with his big barreled chest.
