Welcome

Hello, my name is Dionne and I have been crafting for a very long time. As a very young child my mother tried to teach me to knit, it was a disaster. However, it must have sparked an interest in making things and, partly to prove that I was not totally useless and partly because I really wanted to make things, I taught myself to crochet. Over the years I have developed a love of cross stitch and all types of paper craft ..... I eventually even taught myself to knit.

I am married to a very understanding man, thank goodness, because I spend all my time either crafting, thinking about crafting or talking about crafting. I am hopeless at housework and dinner is often late!

Thank you for visiting my blog.

Open House - Welcome to the World of Elves

I am not sure whether all elves live in a toad stall, what do you think?  My Niece Katie has managed to get some more photographs of the inside of the home of the elves staying with her and her family.

After a night of making mischief the two of them were tucked up in bed before the family awoke.  They seem to have made themselves at home, I think they must have bought more stuff back with them after their visit to the North Pole earlier this week.  I can see a tiny skateboard and one of those globe nightlights.

They look amazingly cosy in their bunk beds.  Is that a black cat curled up asleep on the floor, or perhaps it is a small rug?  Emm, not sure.

Oh look, another picture of Santa and it looks like someone has been reading again.

I thought the elves had cheated and managed to get their Christmas stocking filled before December 25th, but apparently they contain yummy gifts for Ryan and his sister.

It looks like our elves found time to decorate their lounge and I love their new rug and the throw on the sofa, they look so festive.

I just love the bunting and the tiny snowflake decorations.

What is this, an elf bathroom.  Trust them to put up decorations in the smallest room of the house.  I have just spotted one of their new jumpers in the laundry basket.

What is this on the seat of the lavatory, a message saying 'Do Not Open'.  What can be going on here? ......Oh look at that tiny loo roll!

Now, that really is what I would call too much information, chocolate elf poo.  (I wonder what happened to the rest of the pack ....... Ryan?)

    1. I know, the more you look, the more you see. Katie has done such a great job.

Now let me think, who would decorate their bathroom other than my sister. Ummm, I think that might be you Mrs Baker!
