Welcome

Hello, my name is Dionne and I have been crafting for a very long time. As a very young child my mother tried to teach me to knit, it was a disaster. However, it must have sparked an interest in making things and, partly to prove that I was not totally useless and partly because I really wanted to make things, I taught myself to crochet. Over the years I have developed a love of cross stitch and all types of paper craft ..... I eventually even taught myself to knit.

I am married to a very understanding man, thank goodness, because I spend all my time either crafting, thinking about crafting or talking about crafting. I am hopeless at housework and dinner is often late!

Thank you for visiting my blog.

Oh Christmas Tree - Day 3

I am back again with my Bunny Girl model, she is just too cute and makes the perfect model for these dresses - I suppose she should because they were specifically made for her.

I imsgine that a lot of people will be putting up their Christmas decorations today.  I wonder how much more call there is on the National Grid this month?  On her own my sister could probably overload the system!

Today's dress is my take on the Julie Williams Season Jumper Collection pattern, which is called 'Oh Christmas Tree'.  I used the basic Season Dress pattern for the dress.

I added a few faux pearls to decorate the Christmas tree.

Have a great Sunday.

    1. Perhaps these baubles are a little on the big side but who could resist decoratin these trees. Wait for when Lisette spots it, she will be wanting a Christmas jumper for herself. (If only I could shrink her to fit them! Te he.)

    1. I just knew this was one for you, although the baubles might be a bit lumpy to sit on, they do go around the back!

    1. Thank you. I enjoyed knitting the double knit dresses I made in the summer but the end result looks so much better when they are made of cotton.

    1. I confess that it is all down to the pattern, the real tallent lies with the person who wrote the pattern. Most of them give their patterns away freely on Ravelry.
