Welcome

Hello, my name is Dionne and I have been crafting for a very long time. As a very young child my mother tried to teach me to knit, it was a disaster. However, it must have sparked an interest in making things and, partly to prove that I was not totally useless and partly because I really wanted to make things, I taught myself to crochet. Over the years I have developed a love of cross stitch and all types of paper craft ..... I eventually even taught myself to knit.

I am married to a very understanding man, thank goodness, because I spend all my time either crafting, thinking about crafting or talking about crafting. I am hopeless at housework and dinner is often late!

Thank you for visiting my blog.

Down Among the Flowers

It is the first of the month again and I have a quick 'Pinch and a Punch' for my good friend Mrs Beez - and, by the way, no returns of any kind!

There are only a few more days to enter the Crafty Boots Summer Time Challenge.  I am back today to share a card featuring another image from Teddy Bo & Co.

TeddyBea here is sitting amid the flowers enjoying the sunshine and watching a bee.  I coloured the image with my F&C pencils and then mounted her on some gold mirri and some dark blue card.

The paper and the sentiment are from Craftwork Cards and the butterfly die is by Memory Box.  The lace flower is from Wild Orchid Crafts and the musical die is from Joy Craft.

The weekend is almost here, I hope you have plans.

  1. I love this image! It is so adorable. It reminds me of Winnie the Pooh though with the bear and the bee. Where's the honey? Of course, I always enjoy those metal butterflies and the background is very cool! Nice work!!

    1. Thank you, You should take a peek at the TeddyBo range, they have recently switched to Esty and have not loaded very many of the images yet, but the range is pretty extensive.

    1. Well spotted, the music note die is new and whilst my card has nothing to do with music, the die just seemed to work. Come to think of it, all of the embellishments are a bit of a rag bag but I think they work.
