Welcome

Hello, my name is Dionne and I have been crafting for a very long time. As a very young child my mother tried to teach me to knit, it was a disaster. However, it must have sparked an interest in making things and, partly to prove that I was not totally useless and partly because I really wanted to make things, I taught myself to crochet. Over the years I have developed a love of cross stitch and all types of paper craft ..... I eventually even taught myself to knit.

I am married to a very understanding man, thank goodness, because I spend all my time either crafting, thinking about crafting or talking about crafting. I am hopeless at housework and dinner is often late!

Thank you for visiting my blog.

Princess Elsa and Her Sister Anna

I am still working my way through my collection of 'Queens, Princesses and Crowns' for the current Crafty Boots Challenge.

This image of Princess Elsa and her little sister Anna is a free colouring book page.

I coloured the image with F&C polychromos pencils, I then mounted it on some silver mirri and blue card.  The papers and gems are from my stash.

Don't forget to enter your royal designs in the Crafty Boots Challenge.

  1. Beautiful image Dionne, and that background paper is soooo perfect for the princess theme! That could be wallpaper right out of a castle in an enchanted forest! hugs :)

    1. Thank you Pamellia, the background is a little gaudier than I would normally use but it seemed to work with this image, perhaps I was channeling royal wallpaper!

    1. I had a go with my blending fluid with this card, I have never used it before. The result was not as I smooth as I had hoped for but, once it dried, there was no oily mark on the paper. I shall have to get myself some baby oil and see how that works.

I was worried you would not spot the bling so I included the close-up. Haha.

      Have a great weekend.
