Hello, my name is Dionne and I have been crafting for a very long time. As a very young child my mother tried to teach me to knit, it was a disaster. However, it must have sparked an interest in making things and, partly to prove that I was not totally useless and partly because I really wanted to make things, I taught myself to crochet. Over the years I have developed a love of cross stitch and all types of paper craft ..... I eventually even taught myself to knit.


I am married to a very understanding man, thank goodness, because I spend all my time either crafting, thinking about crafting or talking about crafting. I am hopeless at housework and dinner is often late!

More April Showers

How was your weekend, they seem to fly by faster and faster these days.

We are at the midway point in the current Crafty Boots Challenge, the theme of which is 'Spring is in the Air'.  This week we have two terrific Guest Designers, if you have the time, please check them out.  I know you will not be disappointed.


April to me says April showers and my card today is from Teddy Bo & Co, no prizes for guessing that the name of this image is 'April Showers'.


After colouring Taddy Bea with Promarkers I mounted her on silver mirri and some purple card.  The papers are from a DoveCraft stack called Back to Basics II.

    What a sweet card Dionne! I love that image, perfect name for it too! Beautiful background paper, and I love how you made the banners a little longer as you go down the card. Great flow!! hugs :)

      Many thanks Pamellia. I have recently rekindled my love of Teddy Bo & Co images ..... and Mo's Digital Pencil and Sherbet Pips and Saturated Canary - I guess my colouring mojo is back for a while).
