Hello, my name is Dionne and I have been crafting for a very long time. As a very young child my mother tried to teach me to knit, it was a disaster. However, it must have sparked an interest in making things and, partly to prove that I was not totally useless and partly because I really wanted to make things, I taught myself to crochet. Over the years I have developed a love of cross stitch and all types of paper craft ..... I eventually even taught myself to knit.

I am married to a very understanding man, thank goodness, because I spend all my time either crafting, thinking about crafting or talking about crafting. I am hopeless at housework and dinner is often late!

Thank you for visiting my blog.

Monarch of the Glen

Another of my early Christmas cards to share with you today.

Regular visitors to my blog will know that the current challenge at Crafty Boots Challenges is 'Christmas in July'.  So this week I have been busy making cards.

This is another of the stamps have been in my stash for 20, or maybe even 25 years, and I doubt very much that it is available now.  However, it was always a firm favourite if mine and so therapeutic to colour.

I mounted the image on silver mirri and purple Centura Pearl card.  The backing paper is from Kanban Crafts and the ribbon form the Really Reasonable Ribbon people.  The sentiment and snowflake charms are from my stash.

  1. I thought stamping was a rather new thing. I bet you would win any challenge using your old stash with this beautiful Christmas stamp. It has a lovely traditional look.

  2. Wowser! That is a fabulous stamp - I would not have the patience to colour it and you have done a brilliant job as always. The paper and ribbon look stunning to do. Love this Dionne xx

Thank you for visiting my blog, I look forward to reading your feedback on my work. I hope you will visit again.
