Hello, my name is Dionne and I have been crafting for a very long time. As a very young child my mother tried to teach me to knit, it was a disaster. However, it must have sparked an interest in making things and, partly to prove that I was not totally useless and partly because I really wanted to make things, I taught myself to crochet. Over the years I have developed a love of cross stitch and all types of paper craft ..... I eventually even taught myself to knit.

I am married to a very understanding man, thank goodness, because I spend all my time either crafting, thinking about crafting or talking about crafting. I am hopeless at housework and dinner is often late!

Thank you for visiting my blog.

Little Star Tags

This year I keep running out of Christmas gift tags and I needed to quickly make some more this morning.

My most recent crafting purchase was Stampin' Ups 'Christmas Star' stamp.  It is such a pretty design, I just had to have it after seeing it in action at a recent Stampin' Up Workshop, which was run by Stephanie-Emma.

I stamped it in 'Raspberry Ripple' ink and then sprayed it with Iridescent Spray and Sparkle.   After cutting it out I added some matching baker's twine.

How are your Christmas preparations coming along?

I had a lovely surprize yesterday, a gorgeous Christmas card from my dear friend and fellow team member, Lisette (know to the rest of the world as Mrs Beez).  Her work is amazing and if you have never seen it, I strongly urge you visit her blog.

Have a great day.

  1. Love these tags - I haven't got that star stamp and think I might need to get it. Love the sparkle you've added too - I've run out after last year's card! Am going to have stock up on both of these before my New Year "no new craft supplies" resolution kicks in!!! xx

    1. I have since made a dozen in dark blue, they look good in every colour and so simple to make.

  2. PS - Thanks for the shout out too! xx

Thank you for visiting my blog, I look forward to reading your feedback on my work. I hope you will visit again.
