Six more cards today from the from the Hunkydory Adorable Scorable kit called 'Contemporary Christmas'.
I felt that this pretty dove needed something a little bit special. So I raised the main image with Pinflair Glue Gel and then mounted all of it on Stampin' Ups Wisteria Wonder card and silver mirri card. I added a few flat backed gems and a sentiment from my stash.
I die cut a silver stepper card blank for this card. Adding some trim, a lavender bow and some flat backed gems.
I took a second photo so you could see the layers.
This one was mounted on both silver and gold mirri card and placed it on some of the backing card the kit and added a few of the kits decorations.
I gave this card a very similar treatment - mounted on gold mirri card and added some of the decorations from the kit and a sentiment.
Another of the die cut blanks, this one in gold mirri card. Everything else came from the kit although I did add Glossy Accents to the Christmas Bauble.
Last card for today, I popped the central image and raised it up with Pinflare Glue Gel and added some of the decorations and backing card from the kit along with a sentiment.
I do not know what has happened to our little elves today, perhaps it has something to do with all of the snow we have had. Hopefully they will be back tomorrow.

Chaos on our roads and no snow --2 to -4 and freezing fog but no snow thankfully -still -2 today but fog gone although still freezing and everything covered in frost for the past three days! Absolutely beautiful cards love the images especially the doves and all the gold-maybe gone into hibernation lol

Our snow is slowly melting but as soon as the sun goes the temp drops between 0 and -3. It even feels cold inside.
DeleteThank you, I rather like these card as well, it is such a shame that I cannot really show them at there best - between light bouncing off all of the metalic elements and the shiny surfaces. I end up switching off the flash and turning to the side!

These are beautiful. The images with the metallic mats and layers is a stunning combination. Sorry not to see the elves, I do hope they're okay. We have very little snow compared to many areas of the country, but what we have got is hanging around as it is so cold. xxx
ReplyDeleteThank you for your lovely comments. Funnily, I was just telling Carol that all the metallic parts are so hard to photograph and you really do not get to see them at their best.
DeleteI have elf news. Two sets of photos turned up today, so there will be elves tomorrow!
