The Nutcracker

My second post of the day, I am back this afternoon with some more of the cards I have been making using Hunkydory toppers and matching papers.  This set is possibly for the young at heart.

All of the papers in this set have a very high sheen and I found it very hard to photograph them without some glare ruining the image ... in truth this blue background is much deeper in colour.


I love this set, especially the Nutcracker.


As you can see, I have added a few flat backed gems and a sentiment.


Rather than build up the frames, I have separated them and took the middle one and off set it.  This kept the card relatively flat in order to save on postage.

    Oh my goodness how is that for a coincidence?! As you know I went to see a screening of The Nutcracker on the very day you posted these. Obviously I am totally in love with these. I love how you've used the frames. The middle one captures part of The ballet perfectly. X

      Maybe my posting was subconscious, it certainly was not done on purpose. I hope you enjoyed your trip to see the Nutcracker, what a lovely 'start' to your Christmas celebrations.
