Well, this is a new one for me. Back when my sisters were having their children I crocheted many a pram sets, with matching booties and mittens, but I have not attempted booties since I learnt how to knit.
After making the little cardigans I have been posting recently, I found that I had a little of the yarn left over. So, I downloaded a number of bootie patterns and had a go. Once I got the hang of it, I think got a little carried way.
Each of these designs are slightly different but they are all made from double knit baby soft yarn.
I know which were my favourite, how about you?

Have a great day.

This is an amazing collection and I can't believe you've never knitted booties before given how great these are. Love seeing them all together x
ReplyDeleteI'm not sure babies wear booties these days but I really did enjoy these quick little projects.
DeleteI downloaded a lot more bootie patterns but some of them were beyond my skill level.

awww these are sooooo gorgeous I used to love making bootees but as you say they don't wear them now -such a shame babies should look like babies!!!I love them all but love the lilac and mint green just that little but more lol

Ha ha, I like the mint and the similar white ones the best. Sad to think that they probably will never be worn, but they were fun to make - I think because they were so quick to make, especially after making the blanket.
