Advent Countdown - Day 9

It is Day 9 in my personal Advent countdown and what has our lucky dip dip thrown out today.

Woohoo, we have Santa's underwear, the pattern calls them bloomers but the rest of us would either call them pants or knickers.


The pattern comes from Mary Jane's Tearoom Anika Rabbit.  They are made of 4 ply cotton yarn and have a picot edge.  I took the liberty of adding my own holly leaf design, including clusters of tiny red seed beads.  Once again I have left a slot in the back for any fluffy tail to poke through.

      Thank you, it is such a shame the tiny beads do not show up better in the pic. Mind you, I am not sure I would like beads on my underwear!
