I have more of the matching dresses and jumpers I recently made to fit my niece's Christmas elves. The dress is another of Suzymarie's variations of the Julie Williams 'Seasonal Dresses' pattern and I used her 'Seasonal Sweaters' pattern.
As you will know by now, the original pattern was designed to fit the 'Little Cotton Rabbits' series of soft toy but these are a little smaller than the Christmas elves I am making these clothes for, so I made these clothes in double knit instead of 4 ply. Suzymarie's design was for the dress but I reworked the chart to come up with one for the sweater.
Suzymarie has called this design 'Nordic'. However, in my quest to make as many of these outfits with a Christmas/winter look I have come up with several different Nordic snowflake designs, so to avoid confusion I have called this one Nordic Snowflake # 2.
On this occasion I have not repeated the snowflake design on the back of the sweater. If you look carefully you may just make out the tiny button at the neck fastening.
PS Whilst I really love to read your comments, I will understand if you do not feel you have anything to say about yet another dress and jumper combo, perhaps you could just say hi to let me know that you stopped by.

Lovely colour combination and such a great snowflake design. X
ReplyDeleteThank you Mrs Beez, I have started to make a collection of these Nordic designs.
DeleteEnjoy what is left of the weekend.

Beautiful colors! How big are the little sweaters?
ReplyDeleteAs they go, this set came up larger than most of the others but all things are relative. The jumper is probably about 2 inches across the chest (the other jumpers are about a quarter of an inch smaller, so not a lot in it).

PS You are the only person to ask.
So tiny! Yes, I am curious about the size so I can picture it better. I hope you don't mind! :)
DeleteI think these are so cute.
I am only too pleased to be able to put them into context. I often have the same thoughts when I am studying cards, if they are very small cards the detail is that much more impressive.
