Floral Delight

Hi

A new challenge starts at Crafty Boots Challenges today, the theme for the next two weeks is FLOWERS.

This is one of those themes with so much potential, should I use a floral stamp or make a card to show case some of my wonderful WOC flowers made from mulberry papers.  In the end I decided to make my own flowers using a Martha Stuart hydrangea punch.


This image from Teddy Bo & Co is called 'Love Swing'.  I coloured it with Promarkers and mounted it on silver mirri and pink Centura Pearl card.  The backing paper is from a Polka Doodle CD.  I cut the flowers from a variety of card - silver mirri, glitter card, Centura Pearl to give different colours and textures and I put a jewel brad at the centre of each.

    Do you know I don't think I've ever used that punch with glitter card or even mirri. The blossoms look stunning and I love how you've used them to frame that cute image. So pretty.xx
