Oh dear, I have become a bit of an addict as far as decorated letters are concerned and I love making them for my family and friends. Here is another.

I purchased an 8 inch MDF letter 'C' from Barry on ebay. I gave it a coat of Gesso then, once that was dry, I painted it lilac using acrylic pearlescent paint - I love this colour.
I also purchased a bag of mixed purple/lilac buttons from ebay and used these to cover the painted letter. Once everything was dry I cleaned away the excess glue from the surface.

Anyone who is lucky enough to receive one of these cannot fail to be thrilled with it as they are so beautifully done. So how lucky am I to have my very own?! xx

DeleteThis is fab, Dionne! Christmas has become so commercial these days that it's nice to give something that has been handmade - I hope to be a bit more organised this year and make pressies throughout the year, so this will definitely go on my list of ideas! Hugs, Lisa x
