I must apologise for for not posting anything for a while. I have been busy crafting but, as I have been making Christmas presents, I cannot share them with you until after Christmas. However, I do not think my 2 year old niece logs onto my blog as a rule so I am taking a chance and sharing this present with you.
I bought an 18 inch (46cm) high MDF letter 'L' from a very nice man called Barry on ebay and covered it with crayons. However, before I started attaching the crayons I fixed a picture hook to the back of the letter - it took a bit of trial and error to get the balance right.
As you can see I had to join several crayons together for the longer parts of the letter but I made sure all the crayons in one row were the same colour and I took care not to rip the paper when I had to cut them.
This was so much fun to make.

Brilliant! So neatly done, you are so patient. Your niece will love it for sure - and if she doesn't , I just happen to know someone whose name begins with 'L' - tee hee!
