You may have noticed that it has been a while since my last post. This was because I have been laid up for the past week with a wretched cough and cold, I am sure you know exactly what it is like. I still have the cough, but I am on the mend and have started crafting again. I will catch up on visiting everyone's blogs in the next couple of days to see what you have all been up to.
Over at Crafty Boots Challenges the current theme is sport, it can be any sport you like or something more general along the sporting theme, like the Olympics. Whatever you choose we are eager to see your designs. I have made a birthday card for my brother-in-law who, like most of the men I know, likes almost all sports.
This cute little chap is from LOTV and is called Ooops! It is another of the stamps I got from Ali Pali earlier this year.
I coloured the image with Promarkers and applied Glossy Accents to the broken vase and water to add some dimension. I then mounted the image on gold mirri and some lush dark green glitter card. The backing paper is from the Joanna Sheen Messy Rabbit CD. I then added some red buttons and glittery stars, the sentiment is from Craftwork Cards.

ReplyDeleteSorry to hear about your cold and cough. I have not had those for 12 years now so I do not really know what it feels like any more. Glad you are feeling better. You made another beautiful card that made me smile. The image is such a cutie and that green glitter card to me gives an impression of grass. Love your other embellies too.
