Olifant Love

Before the day comes and goes, I need to get a move on and post some more of the Valentine cards I have made.

This cute little guy comes from Teddy Bo & Co and is called Olifant Love.


I coloured him with a combination of FlexMarkers and Promarkers, I wanted to achieve a light, washed-out effect for him and the heart, but to cap (no pun intended) this with stronger colours in his hat.

I have been looking for a good excuse to use my new lace from Wild Orchid Crafts but have struggled to get the look right (this is the first card where I have been happy with the lace).  The heart paper is from DoveCraft.

I have decided to enter this card into the follow challenge:

    Lovely card, Dionne- a very sweet image and soft, pretty colours... and the lace looks lovely along the scallops of the card!! :)

    Oh so cute! The subtle colouring is so pretty (love his contrasting hat!) The whole card makes me think that the sweet elephant is waiting under an exotic vine for his True Love to join him for an assignment lol!! Thanks for joining in at Dream Valley Challenges!
