As I got older, aunt's would give me grown up stationery sets for my birthday and my grandmother once gave me a leather writing case ..... which I still have, somewhere.<br /><br />I suspect all that bread is to slow the ducks down and make them easier to catch! I used to love a "toy" writing set when I was little - I seem to think they came with pretend stamps that you had to cut out and stick with glue! I expect today's versions are far superior.
