To make hair slides you also need undecorated French Barrette hair clips and some glue. Most people also buy a bow template but, as this was just an experiment, I used a Marianne Creatables bow die which I already had.
Once I had cut the bow shapes with scissors, I used my glue gun to put the bows together and attach them to the slides.
The finished slides were much more robust than I was expecting and very bling!
If you have been trying to work out what is printed on the canvass; it's ballet shoes and bows!
Stay safe.

Thank you Carol.
DeleteI'm not sure about inventive, I accidentally bought one sheet of plasticized paper and my instinct was to spend yet more money on a glittery sheet and a pack of hair clips. So, inventive or simply insane? You decide.
Interesting stuff though, it would not go through my Big Shot, I had to use scissors.

Ooh, a whole new range of possibilities! Can't wait to see how you develop these. Your first go looks perfect! X
ReplyDeleteThe good news is that my little niece wore them all day and they stayed in one piece. Even so, I cannot see me making more.
