This set features the much loved traditional European Robin and I should confess straight away that my indoor photography does not do this set justice, the background blue is much more stunning in reality.
The Robin is a huge favourite of my husband and only last weekend had one quite literally eating out of his hand. Therefore, I always try to make sure that his Christmas card features a robin.

I really have not done the top two cards justice, the depth of blue in that sky is stunning, I wish I was able to show you... although I do have a soft spot for the bottom card, which without the shinny backing paper was a lot easier to photograph.

Another superb set. The robin images are lovely and the background cards equally so. Phil used to be joined by a robin in the days when he gardened regularly, and would feed it worms. Then we have had a couple of years where they have nested in the garden and we have regular visitors to the bird feeder. I like to think it's different generations of the same family. Xx
ReplyDeleteThat is so sweet. Yesterday I saw an Amazon ad for a robin birds nest wich was actually a pottery tea pot. I was so tempted to buy it but I do wonder whether a robin would realy want to nest in a pottery tea pot complete with drainage holes.
