A Crofter's Christmas

Here I am again with another 'Christmas is July' card.  All of this card making has got me wondering about how organised everyone else is.  Have you started making your Christmas cards yet?  How about buying gifts and setting them aside?  I know someone who has not only bought all of her presents but has wrapped them too.

After some of the comments I received yesterday I am starting to feel a little like an estate agent.  So today I have to offer a small but comfortable cottage in a rural setting by Delicious Doodles, it would be perfect for 'A Crofter's Winter' cottage.

I coloured the image with my F& C pencils and added glitter to highlight the snowy bits. I then mounted the image onto some silver card and highlighted the snow with glitter. The music paper is from Dovecraft Christmas Glad Tidings paper pack and the flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts.  The sentiment stamp is from Stampin' Up and the little gems from my stash.

  1. This looks so peaceful with that extra special quiet that you get after a heavy snowfall! Once again the glitter is so pretty and perfect. You are well ahead with your cards - can't decide whether to make my own or not this year, which means that if I do it will be another last minute affair :) xx

    1. I have been trying to think of a sales notice for this croft. I suspect it has scope for improvement with some unusual features, situated in a quiet area. In other words it is in the middle of nowhere, has neither electricity or mains drainage and the roof leaks! But it does look idyllic.

  2. Amazing card! Your coloring skills and artistry work is amazing. It looks so professional and thank you for adding glitter! :) And, I am one who has not made ANY christmas cards yet or bought gifts. I know, I know....I will be panicking and wishing I worked on this stuff earlier haha.
