Letter L

Hi

I am back today to share another of my button covered letters.  I created this one for my dear friend Lisette, aka Mrs Beez.


I purchased an 8 inch MDF letter from Barry on ebay.  I gave it a coat of Gesso and, once that was dry, I painted it lilac using pearlescent acrylic paint - his paint has a lovely textured sparkle to it.

I also purchased a bag of mixed purple/lilac buttons from ebay and used these to cover the painted letter.  Once everything was dry I cleaned any excess glue from the surface.

    Yay, it's my letter. I have this in my bedroom so can personally vouch for it being absolutely stunning. It was such a lovely surprise to receive and I shall treasure it. xx
