Tweedle Dum and Tweedle Dee

Good morning and welcome to my blog.

Day 13 of my personal challenge to post a card every day for the duration of the current Crafty Boots Challenges, the theme of which is Children's Stories or Nursery Rhymes.

For the penultimate day of this challenge I have returned to Through the Looking Glass for my inspiration.

This jolly image of Tweedle Dum and Tweedle Dee is from Mo's Digital Pencil and is called Tweedle.

I coloured the image with Promarkers and mounted it on silver mirri and some red glitter card.  I them made the stepper card and covered it in some cheerful paper with a bee motif from a Forever Friends stack.  The tickets are by Ranger and the flowers and insect charms are from Wild Orchid Crafts.

Although I have posted cards every day for almost two weeks I still have at least half a dozen children's images I have not shared with you yet and I hope to return this afternoon with at least one more card today.

There is still time for you to enter this Challenge, I would love to see your interpretation of this theme.  Just go to Crafty Boots Challenges and join in the fun.

Thanks for dropping by, I really do appreciate your support and enjoy reading your comments.

  1. Hi Dionne
Oh WOW, another beauty! Love this shape card. Such a brilliant image, gorgeous colouring in and that striking red colour speaks for itself again. Real eye catcher! Beautiful metal embellishments and those tickets go so well with the image.
I am looking forward to another card from you today but please do not over exhaust yourself or cause yourself some kind of craft related injury because of it. I hope you are not crafting in your sleep too (LOL).
